The girls and boys of Manos Amigas were extremely excited by the new t-shirts and shoes that they received for physical education.
Today is finally coming to an end, with 1,400 people’s teeth happy and healthy.
The women of Manos Amigas presented in the spirit of Christmas a wonderful performance to all the families of the centre.
Following the tradition of the taverns (nine days of religious observance), the boys and girls of Manos Amigas celebrated joyfully, singing Christmas songs and breaking many piñatas filled with fruit, toys, and sweets.
Using only recycled materials, during the holidays we held the annual “build your own nativity scene” competition.
As the holidays approach, we would like to send a special thank you to every one of our supporters.

We would like to welcome two new professionals into the community. Two of our students Mishell Fuentes Patzan and Gladis Ascencio have just graduated, with an official certification as Pre-Primary teachers.
Whenever it comes to the end of the term, the level of excitement and emotions is very high at Manos Amigas. Two of our students, Jose Enrique Cumes and Carlos Gustavo Velasquez, have made both the community and their godparents proud!
We were very excited to see every single student graduate from the course, but now we are even more excited to get our hands (and teeth) into some of the pastries. With the holidays upon us, we are looking forward to tasting all the pastries.
On November 5th, one of our students obtained her high school degree in Science and Literature with a focus on Education. Sindi graduated from the Pedro Molina School in Chimaltenango with a big smile, forever grateful to God, Suor Marcela and all the sponsors for their endless support.
On October 28th, a group of students from our local school on the foundation, La Sagrada Familia, graduated.
On November 5th, one of our students obtained her high school degree in Science and Literature with a focus on Education.
Last week, Dragoman and the Attorney General office paid Manos Amigas a visit. They frequently visit the foundation, always bringing the best of surprises and fun for our kids.

We were very excited that one of our own beneficiaries of the Rosalia Feliziani Foundation, Lidia Aju, returned to Manos Amigas Centre.
During September, a civic walk was created by the community using a variety of Guatemalan prints. Our students enjoyed participating!
